Get Your Trail Fix
Trail Fix is a 100km trail run relay for teams of 4 or 5, featuring multiple race stages over mixed-terrain trail systems.

When it was first launched in 2019, the original course followed a point-to-point format. In light of COVID-19, we've had to tweak that vision of the race experience somewhat, to suit the current reality.

We're very glad to say that Trail Fix will be back for 2021 - it just looks a little different!  Working with our partners at Albion Hills Conservation Area, we have created a new racecourse and race site design to meet the practicalities of racing under the new normal.

Trail-tested by racers in a self-guided format in 2020, we're very pleased with what's come together.  Be it open meadows, rolling forested doubletrack or rugged technical singletrack that delivers your best runner’s high, this is still the course to get your fix!

2021 RACE GUIDE
How it Works
The 2021 course is made up of four race stages, all within Albion Hills Conservation Area.

Teams complete each stage 4 times, for a total of 16 legs.

Race legs may be divvied up among teams of four or five any way you like.

While not on-course, teams will be separated into four open-area zones around the race site.

Each zone will have its own dedicated Race Start time, and a pre-assigned first stage.

The Host Site
Renowned for being one of Ontario's favourite mountain biking destinations, Albion Hills boasts a 50km trail system winding through over 1,200 acres of rolling forested terrain.  The network passes through both open fields and lush forest cover, mixing gorgeous flow-y singletrack with gentle doubletrack.

Host to North America's largest 24-hour mountain bike relay, Albion Hills is the perfect venue for a weekend of trail activity.  To make the most of it, racers can take advantage of:

  • a 10km self-timed marked mountain bike course available all weekend (NEW!)
  • kids races offered both days (NEW!)
  • camping options throughout the park

Albion Hills is truly a fantastic place to camp, with over 200 serviced or unserviced tent and trailer sites available.  Wake up and walk to the race site, or slip your tired bones directly into your sleeping bag at the end of the day, by reserving a campsite for either pre or post-race.  Booking details are available here.
