The Trail Fix race experience is about taking the widest imaginable range of Southern Ontario trail types, and blending them all into one spectacular point-to-point trail relay.  It's about traversing 100+ km of truly 'mix-of-everything' trail systems, broken down into multiple race legs for you and your teammates to divide and conquer.  A Trail Fix course is one that offers something for every runner type.

Forget waiting around for hampster-wheel laps of a loop course. Think of this as a long-distance running tour of some of the GTA's best hidden-gem play spots and natural areas, but with your best trail buds Fix-ing along with you. You'll be working as a unit throughout the day to caravan yourselves across from the start to the finish line - a journey that can be even more memorable than the route itself!

The Racecourse
The last transition at Albion Hills Conservation Area is where all teams will re-group for the final stages.  Host to North America's largest 24-hour mountain bike relay, Albion Hills is the perfect venue for a finish area gathering spot, with ample open grassy space for setting up comfy hang-outs to chill with your teammates and fellow runners.  Add to this a yummy post race BBQ meal and GoodLot Brewing beer garden and you've got the makings of a pretty sweet Saturday evening, and the picture-perfect ending to your 100+ kilometre team journey!

Albion Hills also just happens to be a fantastic place to camp, with over 200 serviced or unserviced tent and trailer sites throughout the park.  Wake up and walk to Check-In, or slip your tired bones directly into your sleeping bag at the end of the day, by reserving a campsite for either pre or post-race.  Booking details are available here.

This course is a trail-lover's delight - over 90% of the 100+ km total distance falls somewhere within the wide spectrum of trail types featured throughout.  But it's not just the range of trail systems that it passes through that makes this course so special.  Centred in the Greenbelt and bordered by both the Niagara Escarpment and the Oak Ridges Moraine, this is a host region that boasts of some of the best and most diverse trail running terrain in Southern Ontario.  All this and only an hour outside of the GTA - this truly is the place to get your Fix!
