Sean Roper
With over 50 proprietary events to his credit, Sean has had a passion for adventure racing and trail running since he first volunteered at a race back in 1998. He is a career event professional, with over 15 years of experience behind the scenes at adventure racing, running, cycling and fundraising events. Building a signature point-to-point trail race in Ontario has been a dream of his for many years, and the launch of Trail Fix is the result of all that dreaming! An accomplished adventure racer and ultra-runner himself, you can usually find Sean at various events throughout the province, or across the country and beyond. |
Heather Brown
Heather supports the Storm Racing series as Course and Volunteer Manager. When she’s not lamenting that she never gets to compete at Storm events, you’ll find her at any given race - driving along the course; positioning our amazing volunteers; and ensuring that all teams stay on-course and finish safely. If you've ever been randomly cheered on as you make your way along the racecourse, it's a safe bet that it's Heather's always-encouraging voice you're hearing! A regular at various trail running, mountain biking, adventure racing and orienteering events, Heather can be found pretty much anywhere adventure is served. |
The Trail Fix Trail Fox
The Trail Fox designs, tests, scouts and sets the Trail Fix racecourse, and ensures that all the necessary facilities and amenities are in place for teams as they embark on their 100+ km point-to-point journey. He’s a wily but shy creature - seldom-seen, and usually preferring to complete his tasks under the cover of dark. He is known for eluding runners by darting into the woods just before they arrive - sometimes leaving trail treats behind as evidence of his presence. Catching a glimpse of this evasive creature is considered a sign of very good luck, but you've got to be quick! |
